This 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Chassis WT Crew Cab is a serious workhorse that has been professionally upfitted with a utility body, making it an excellent solution for contractors, service technicians, municipalities, and fleet operations. Finished in Summit White, this truck is purpose-built to work hard every day and stay organized while doing it.

Power comes from a proven 6.0L V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive, a locking limited slip differential, and a heavy-duty suspension provide the strength and traction needed for demanding job sites and heavy workloads. With a GVWR of 13,200 pounds, this Silverado is engineered for serious payload and towing capability.

The professionally installed utility body transforms this truck into a mobile workstation. Multiple exterior storage compartments allow tools, equipment, and supplies to stay secure, organized, and easily accessible throughout the day. The utility configuration reduces downtime, increases efficiency, and eliminates the need to climb in and out of a traditional pickup bed. This setup is ideal for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, and service-based businesses.

Inside, the Crew Cab Work Truck interior is designed for durability and functionality. Vinyl seating, a split bench seat, and graphite-colored rubberized vinyl flooring make cleanup easy after long days on the job. The spacious Crew Cab allows room for your crew without sacrificing comfort. Power windows and power door locks add convenience while maintaining the trucks no-nonsense work-focused design.

Technology and convenience features are focused on reliability and ease of use. This Silverado includes cruise control, air conditioning, AM/FM audio with auxiliary input, an adjustable steering wheel, and the WT Convenience Package, which adds heated power mirrors and keyless entry. An integrated trailer brake controller supports confident towing when hauling equipment or trailers.

Safety and control features include stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, daytime running lights, driving behavior settings, and front airbags for driver and passenger protection.

On the exterior, this Silverado is equipped with steel wheels, all-terrain tires, tow hooks, cab-mounted cargo lamps, smoked amber roof marker lamps, a chrome front bumper, and camper-style mirrors for enhanced visibility. The utility body adds both function and value, making this truck ready to go straight to work with no additional upfit required.

Optional equipment on this Silverado includes the WT Convenience Package, integrated trailer brake controller, underbody shield, and all-terrain tires.

If you are looking for a heavy-duty work truck that is already set up to earn its keep, this 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD with utility body is ready to go to work on day one.

    • Best Truck I've Owned Yet

My 2019 Silverado 3500 HD with the Gas 6.0 has been a great truck so far. I've had it since it was new, I broke it in following the instructions in the owners manual and I've been very happy with it. I bought it as my old truck couldn't pull my 5th wheel. Fully loaded I'm pushing about 10,000 pounds. This truck handles the 5th wheel with ease. I went from a 1/2 ton to the 1 ton and the difference is night and day. The truck works hard, it goes easy down the road, and it's been a joy to tow with it. I do wish it had a little more getup and go when towing, however, I'm not drag racing and the diesel undoubtedly would be fulfill what I feel I'm lacking. I'm not saying it doesn't go, once you get into the sweet spot at the higher rpm's she like to go! I'm also impressed with how the truck handles towing going through the hilly and windy terrain of ND. It performs flawlessly every time. The temps stay low on the mechanicals, the cooled seats are so nice during the hot summer months, and the truck is very comfortable. One little thing that surprised me was when I went to back in to hitch up my 5th wheel. I can see the hitch plane as day when I go to line it up. I just turn my head and there it is. It was a nice little surprise that my F150 didn't offer. The box seems to be lower and the back window is bigger on the Silverado where you can see the hitch perfectly. This has been especially helpful when I'm setting up to go. It's actually taken a lot of time out of the equation which is always a plus! Another thing I love is that I haven't had to modify or change anything. On the F150 I had airbags, 10 ply tires, a RoadMaster Active Suspension installed and those helped, nothing compared to the factory everything the Silverado came with. I realize this isn't an apples to apples comparison to my previous truck. The F150 I had just wasn't equipped to do what I needed it to do. Overall, the Silverado 3500 is a good truck. I enjoy having it, my kids love it, they always want to take the truck. If you're looking for a hardworking, stylish, and overall reliable truck the 3500 is a great choice!
    • Totally surprising truck

Originally bought this truck to pull our 5th wheel RV . But over the last 3 years I have used it to get back and forth to work, pull the RV and tow other trailers. Never once had any doubt about what the Duramax engine would do and put many Dodge and Ford dually pickup to shame pulling my trailer up hills. It has never given me one reason to regret buying it. Have heard how rough they ride, well I have owned every make of full size American pick up and it rides great. And gas mileage is equal to them all. And as far as price I found it to be better priced than Ford or Dodge which I feel are far over priced for their flash and lack of gas. Just felt that for the money it was the best value for what you got.
